Oil on Linen over wooden panel 

This mask celebrates the Dan Tribe Spirit,, located mostly in west Africa - They are known for their cowrie shell designs on their masks, to celebrate marriage and the family. This was one of the first masks I bought at a Harlem street market on 116th Street, in Manhattan.
